Pure St Peters

Overall decent stay, but a little expensive. No balcony, no pool, and I had a terrible experience with my upstairs neighbors throughout my whole year staying there and made complaints to no avail. Maintenance doesn't really respond. So I would only go here as a last resort type of thing

I am a longtime resident of Pure St. Peters, having been the first & only resident of my unit since Oct 2019. I started experiencing issues with my unit in July 2022. This became an issue as I was dealing with no working A/C on triple digit days. One night, I arrived home to no A/C and after lying in bed in 90-degree temperatures inside my unit for 30 minutes, I relented and stayed the night at a nearby hotel. Eventually, I was given a solution from management to shut off the breakers for the... HVAC unit and then turn them back on. This worked, but I had to do multiple times & shared my findings as I suspected that there was an ongoing issue with my HVAC system. Important to note that I was not the only resident experiencing issues. A friend in another building had ongoing issues with their HVAC and went months without a resolution.

In early Nov, I noticed that I started experiencing issues with my heat and the electrical breaker trick did NOT work. I submitted a maintenance request. It was marked resolved, but nothing was communicated. After contacting the office numerous times, management had a HVAC company come in a few days before the Christmas holiday (5-6 weeks after my initial request) and found that my HVAC system was out of freon. The HVAC company said there was a leak and they would speak with management about coming back out to locate the leak. I left town to spend the holiday season with family and watched my Philips Hue Thermostat decrease throughout the days when we had subzero temperatures. I called the office and asked them to check to see if the heat was working. They assured me they would. They were sending out numerous emails about opening cabinet doors to avoid pipes bursting, so you would think that they would be motivated to ensure the heat was working. When I returned my heat was still not functioning. Management makes it sounds like they are at the mercy of a HVAC company’s schedule. I am amazed that Capriet is not allowing emergency funds be utilized for an immediate fix.

This should be a warning to any potential renter. There have been no offer of reduced rent or any other concession.

I've been having HVAC issues since July 2022 and have not had functioning heat since November 2022 with the exception of a brief few days of heat before Christmas. I have been heating my apartment with the small space heater that they provided and, as one can imagine, it is not ideal.

Pure St.Petrers has the best apatments for rent in St.Louis. You will be more than happy to live without mold,bugs and noisy neihbours.

Great place to live. Convenient location, quiet surroundings and fantastic management.

I love living at Pure St Peters and would recommend this place in a heartbeat!
