Trash smell really bad on millerton side. Embarrassing to bring guests over. Guest parking is poor. Trucks that are too big make unsafe parking space. Neighbors run around and have big dogs that run around with no respect for how much noise they are making. Management just says there is nothing they can do. Package delivery sucks and we are forced to pay for a 3rd party to do it, and packages still get stolen. Strict rules on how many guests but people still have huge parties and blast music at... the pool. DO NOT LIVE HERE it is overpriced for what you get.

Don’t believe the fake reviews

Don’t let the fake reviews fool you.

This place calls itself “luxury,” but there is nothing luxury about it. The hallways constantly smell like weed, there is dog poop all over the property, homeless people have gotten into the buildings and parking garage, and car break-ins have been an ongoing issue.

I also had an ant infestation in my apartment. The property manager’s solution was to tell me to use Windex as if that was supposed to solve the problem. It’s honestly unbelievable that a... property charging this much doesn’t have an emergency pest control service available for situations like this.

I wish I had listened to the negative reviews before moving here. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.

Alta West is a lovely community and we truly enjoy living here. The apartments are large and spacious. I have a lovely view of the city! I appreciate not living in the city but only a 5 min commute. I also love the community activities that they offer.
