Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are genuinely sorry to hear that your move-out experience left you feeling frustrated and disappointed. We understand that receiving additional charges after moving out can be upsetting,… especially when you believed the items noted were considered normal wear and tear. We appreciate you sharing your concerns and giving us the opportunity to provide some clarification. Regarding the move-out charges, we understand that you may not have agreed with the assessment. Our records indicate that photo evidence of the items in question, an explanation of the charges, and copies of the applicable invoices were provided. While we respect that you may have considered the condition to be normal wear and tear, the condition of the apartment required work beyond our standard turnover process in order to return the home to the condition in which it was received. We recognize that there can be different perspectives regarding what constitutes normal wear and tear, but our assessment was based on the additional work necessary to prepare the apartment for the next resident. We are also sorry that you felt your concerns were not adequately addressed when you reached out to management. It is never our intention for a resident to feel dismissed or as though they are simply being directed elsewhere. We understand how frustrating that experience can be, and we regret that this was how the situation was perceived. We also recognize that the community was still under construction during your residency. The construction activity and related expectations were outlined in the Construction Addendum to your lease. That said, we understand that living in an actively developing community can still be inconvenient, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding while construction was taking place. We know how important consistent internet service is, especially for residents who work from home, and we are sorry that outages caused frustration or made working remotely more difficult. Internet service is provided through a third-party provider, but we certainly understand the inconvenience that recurring outages can create. We appreciate your positive comments about our location and understand that convenience is an important part of the living experience. At the same time, we are sorry that the other concerns you experienced ultimately affected your overall impression of the community. Your feedback regarding construction, internet service, and the move-out process is valuable to us, and we will continue to use resident feedback to identify areas where we can improve.
