I love living at the Atherton! Beautiful Apartments right in the center of Southend, you wont find another building with the location and quality like this one. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and they plan fun resident events that you actually want to go to.

If you’re a working professional, do not live at The Atherton. It feels more like “South End University” than an apartment building. People have spit Zyns on my door, knocked over my trash can, generally immature people… it’s loud almost every night from the live band at Sycamore to the street cleaner that comes blaring through at 11PM on Sundays.
The parking garage and building are a total nightmare. The elevator by me hasn’t worked for weeks. There have been multiple car break-ins and bike... thefts… and the building itself doesn’t feel safe or secure at all. The Atherton isn’t it. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

Love living here! It’s a great place and the apartments are very nice. Maintenance is always super quick to respond and love the community events.

• The leasing staff were friendly, responsive, and professional — they answered most of my questions in a timely manner.
• The tour and showing process was smooth: the units shown were clean, well-presented, and representative of what I would move into.
• The documentation was fairly clear: the lease agreement was thorough, and the staff walked me through key clauses (e.g. pet policy, utilities, fees).
• Move-in logistics were handled decently — scheduling and coordination were... straightforward.
• The location and amenities were sold well during the process, which made the property very attractive

I love how convenient everything is to the building, how clean it is, the courtyards are always manicured and nice to be in. The community activities are fun and inclusive.
