moved into this apartment on July 5 and was immediately met with a strong, persistent mold-like odor. I reported it right away, but the response has been completely inadequate. Instead of addressing the root cause, I was told to open a window or use a fan — which, let’s be honest, is not a solution to a potential mold issue.
What’s worse is that I had to relocate my cats to another home because I didn’t feel it was safe for them, and now they’re stressed and scared. I’m returning from being out... of town and don’t even feel comfortable living or sleeping in my own apartment.
I understand that scheduling with vendors can be tricky, but this has dragged on with no real urgency, no resolution, and no compensation for the inconvenience and stress it’s caused. As a tenant, I expect my living space to be safe and habitable — this experience has been the opposite. Very disappointing.
