How Is This Rating Determined?

This is my community

I downsized from a 4 bedroom condo to my 2 bedroom apartment. I love it and realize that I have everything I need (except my garage, but I’m glad there is plenty of parking).

Adding to the description: washer/dryer connections in the kitchen, closet system in main bedroom allows for a lot (just purge and get rid of items you don’t wear). The apartments are practically soundproof...not perfect, but darn near (voices don’t carry at all). And if gardening is your thing (it’s mine), you’re free to...
plant your flowers because we have yards (most have front and back).

Maintenance is exceptional, and all it takes is a phone call to get something taken care of. The office staff is very professional and always ready to take care of your needs.

Oh, and one more thing: the Food Lion grocery store is in walking distance if you’re up to it (about 1.7 miles round trip).

Peace and quiet! This has to be one of my best decisions when I moved back home to Durham. If you don’t like rules and regulations, this is not the place for you. It’s a neighborhood where neighbors speak, talk, and look out for each other.

Small but affordable

Small apartments, all two bedrooms, but the bedrooms are very small. There is no designated eating area, because you can not put a table in the kitchen. If you have large furniture, you are in trouble. there are small closets, and absolutely no storage areas at all. The outside landscapes are very well maintained, and its a quiet neighborhood.
