Warning

Warning for anyone signing a lease without seeing the unit in person first. I made the mistake of not visiting before signing and the photos were heavily edited and don’t reflect the real condition of the property. There are ongoing issues with trash buildup and raccoons being fed, which leads to noise and wildlife activity around the roof. Think carefully and visit in person before signing any contract or dealing with them, especially if you are a foreign renter.

Still the same slum landlords

As a longtime resident who’s stuck here for now, I can tell you the truth!!! They are cute, quiet and And home to go home to at the end of the day, but they are full of various bugs, mold, and a plethora of moisture issues. Even New partly renovated units are still not up to code. They can’t even caulk the bathroom toilet correctly!! Just being honest! Centipedes are the new pest of the week to deal with. We pay an extra $10 a month for services when requested aren’t being provided!

Roach infested and bad heating

The remodeled apartments are very poorly remodeled. Someone just slapped improperly cut molding and cabinetry in an old apartment so lots of bugs and roaches can live in the floor and ceiling and come out into the apartment. The heating element is uninsulated CEILING HEAT. There was no way to control the temperature so without diligence you really run up your electric bill and your apartment is BOILING.
They look okay for the price at first but you’re better off getting an actually new… apartment and not spending $200+ a month on electric.
