Mystic Pines

I've been living here for almost a year, and am still deciding if I will renew my lease here. The area is great, with nice surrounding neighborhoods and easy access to trails for walking and running. Two of my biggest complaints are maintenance time and unresponsive property manager. We have had multiple issues with the toilet, bathtub, and washing machines, and most of the times maintenance takes forever to get it fixed. Also, when we first moved in, the apartment reeked of cigarette smoke,... even though the complex is a no smoking zone. The property manager never responded to me messages and did not take care of it. By then it was too late to move somewhere else, but our guests can still smell the smoke. Maintenance is only good part of this place. Was good at first but taking a turn for the worst resident wise. Management sucks called every few months about a garage because none where available when moved in and never got one in 3 years but new tenants did. Had major problems with the secure doors being propped open and drugs but management didnt ever do a thing. More problems but management just ignored them. We love living where we live. While living in an apartment this long wasn't part of our "plan" - we're so thankful that if we have to live in one, that it's here!

We love this place! We had only planned on living here for 1 year. But after having a baby girl via c-section with kidney issues and just a few months later a Melanoma diagnosis for my husband, we knew we'd be here longer and were in no place to buy a house. That said, we couldn't ask for a more amazing place to live. It's nice, clean and has the most friendly and compassionate staff. We've been so blessed!
