Her achievements have been recognized throughout the region and include the West Essex Board of Realtors Distinguished Sales Club Award in 2011, Realtor of the Year in 2005 and Circle of Excellence 1998-2008, American Red Cross Community Service Award in 2005, YMCA 50 Women You Should Know 2000”, NYC YMCA Black Achievers Award, NYNEX President’s Excellence Award to mention a few. Her hobbies are jigsaw puzzles, decorating, traveling and community service. She resides in Montclair with her husband Chris White, retired chair of Bloomfield College’s Music Department and world-renowned Jazz Bassist playing with Dizzy, Nina Simone, to mention a few. They have two grown sons, Christopher and Bashari, plus two stepdaughters June and Alexandra and three busy grandchildren.
