Over priced, unpleasant staff, very intrusive
My husband and I lived at this apartment complex from 2015–2017 under previous ownership, and we had a positive experience back then. Unfortunately, after moving back in 2024 under new management, our experience was completely different—and not in a good way.
The current management team was difficult to work with and lacked the professionalism and courtesy we had experienced in the past. One of the biggest issues was how intrusive they were with frequent entries into our apartment for... inspections and various tests. There was no flexibility whatsoever—no ability to schedule a time window, no consideration for work schedules, and no accommodation for pets.
This became a serious issue for us because our dog is diabetic and requires strict feeding times and constant access to water. Leaving her kenneled all day is not an option, as it could make her very sick. Despite explaining this, management showed no willingness to work with us. As a result, I had to miss work multiple times just to be present for these entries, costing me several hundred dollars each time.
The move-out process was equally frustrating. They scheduled our final move out inspection and then management insisted on a pre-move-out inspection for a month prior to the final inspection to decide whether they wanted to remodel the unit, again with no regard for our schedule. We reminded them that we scheduled our move out and to return keys 10 days before the lease ended so they would have additional time to make any arrangements without be intrusive to our time and schedules.
To make matters worse, the final inspection was set for April 24th at 11 a.m., and no one ever showed up or contacted us. We wasted an entire day waiting. Since we had to leave for another state, we were forced to leave the apartment unlocked with the keys and garage remote inside, which was completely unacceptable.
Financially, things didn’t improve. While our rent was correctly prorated for the final few days of our lease, we were still charged for a full month of garage and trash valet services—even though our lease ended on May 3rd. There were no exceptions made, which felt unreasonable and unfair.
Overall, our experience this time around was incredibly disappointing. Due to the lack of professionalism, flexibility, and basic consideration, we will never return to this property as long as it remains under the current management. We also would not recommend it to friends or family.
