ORANGE GROVE

I have been living here for almost 1 year and I have never seen anything like it, cockroaches walking on the walls of the apartment and all over my kitchen, bathroom and floors. Apparently the management does not consider this a serious problem considering that these insects carry many diseases. My husband and I have gone to the office on several occasions to report the problem so they can fumigate but we have not seen any changes in the situation. On the contrary, it has worsened in recent… months to the point that we have purchased different products to try to eradicate the problem. But it only gets better for two days. On the other hand, two weeks ago my husband asked for fumigation, again, and they didn't, so I attended this week to request the service again and they told me that they were going to come yesterday but that they would notify me by putting a document on the door of my apartment, which did not happen and if I did not remove the things from the closets they were going to charge me $100 (something new for me). I ask the management of the place to address this problem since I cannot even sleep peacefully. The only good thing about this place is the maintenance man who always tries to serve us as soon as possible. The process on transferring from one of the sister properties was very easy. Although I wish I would’ve seen this place before moving in. The day I moved in you could tell my apartment was rushed ( the office gave me a move in date for it to NOT be ready ). The knobs for the kitchen were on the counter, carpet was ripped, in the front bathroom the knob for the shower wasn’t on, the hand towel holder was loose….it was a lot. They don’t warn you about the BUGS here!!! It’s disgusting to have bugs… and it’s not your fault. They have someone come out to spray like once every 2 months or so but only give 24 hour notice. The spray doesn’t work just makes them come out more. Maintenance is ok although it takes a while for them to come. My heater went out they brought me an old heater to plug up that smelled it something was burning. I have a daughter who had to sleep in my room because they brought only one and I wish they didn’t. I had to watch my daughter extra careful so she would bump into it. The rent was decent when first moving here but now they just keep raising it. Not giving anything special but raising the rent. The contractor they use for the tubs, carpet, and flooring all barely do the minimum and the apartment is falling apart. And it’s like pulling teeth to get anyone to come out and repair an issue even if it is a health risk.. NOT ideal for remote workers! The management is requesting to enter every 4 months for some odd reasons and only give 24 hour notice.

Chely is always professional and helpful whenever I go into the office for any reason and always addresses any issue that come up timely. Thank you.
