We lived at this complex for 14 months. We had a lot of maintenance issues the whole time we rented here. The office lied about us not having to split utility bills with the whole complex (we paid $160-200/mo for water, sewer, and trash because they split it between everyone).
They buildings are gross (dirty, lots of bugs), old and not properly taken care of. Lots of soft spots throughout the flooring too. Our first issue happened as soon as we moved in with a broken dishwasher. It took over a... month to get it replaced. Our next issue was a pretty major one. The plumbing in our kitchen completely failed, caused a major leak in the downstairs neighbor. We went without a kitchen for a little over a week before they were able to get a plumber out to repair everything. During the summer, our closet door completely fell apart. The maintenance guy come to measure the doors and we waited 2 months before they came in. The door he ordered was the wrong size (surprise surprise) and tried to blame it on the office people. He said they should have the right size in their storage. Why we needed to wait 2 months for the wrong door? Beats me.
We also had issues with both bathrooms at two separate times. One of them started to flood, causing it to leak onto the bedroom carpet.
The cement stairs leading up to our apartment also completely broke one day as we walked up the stairs.
And after living here for one year, the ceiling started to leak water after it had rained. They said there was a hole in the roof, but couldn't get ahold of the roofers. It took them almost a month to "fix" the leaking ceiling. It turned out to be a major clog with the dryer and it caused moisture throughout the ceiling.
The office and maintenance people don't seem to communicate and they are never on the same page.
With the prices of these apartments, you can get a nicer place in a different part of Reno. This place is absolutely not worth it. Read More

By far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. It is a premium amount of rent with NO amenities that are promised. They will NOT take ANY responsibility for anything that is not taken care of, they have had a spa that we were PROMISED would be up and going when we were touring the place a year and a half ago (hint, it’s still not up) and we have had work orders that are either months in without being taken care of, or promptly closed without any notification. Oh, and when all of this... is brought up and why it’s not taken care of, their response is ‘we go home to be with our families on the weekends’.

Management has communicated with me well over the months that I've lived here. Any issues I have with appliances are taken care of promptly and management has followed up with me later to ensure my issue was fixed.
People within the complex are friendly. The complex itself isn't rowdy or noisy, usually tends to stay very quiet in my area.
Bugs are hardly an issue. I have seen 1 spider inside the apartment and maybe some wasps/hornets outside on the balcony, but a can of raid is plenty....
Location of the apartments is great because you're close to grocery stores, food, airport and Huffaker park trails. From my experience, this place is great for what you pay. Read More

Last year I had a hornets nest growing in the light on my out door patio area. I called the office to come take care of it, and they assured me that pest control would be out to take care of it that week. Three weeks later they finally show up but I had to lie and say that I was allergic and that could cause legal issues for anything to actually happen.

Now I have a mouse in my apartment. Yes a MOUSE!!! I called the office to report it and get pest control back out here. They assured me that... they would be there the next day to take care of it. I had to go out and get traps myself because no one ever showed up, after 11 am no one in the office would answer the phones, and no one seems alarmed that their buildings have mice. Absolutely the worst place I've ever lived. The management has such a blatant disregard for their residents that it could be argued that they are at best negligent and at worst cruel. I went through the summer without an AC because they constantly had to get "approvals" every time they looked at it, so my apartment was 100° or higher during the day on most days.

During the past few months they've taken to towing vehicles for arbitrary reasons, and mine were towed twice. The first time they said... it was because the car appeared to be "abandoned", yesterday (Thanksgiving) they towed a newly purchased truck. I don't understand how they could justify that, they ruined a holiday and a celebration of a new big purchase by towing it.

Last time they towed a car, they told me they'd reach out to me if it was in front of my apartment, but they didn't.

From day one, they've lied to me. I toured the wrong apartment (have video proof), and the paperwork I signed on was not the same apartment. Instead I got one with torn up carpet, missing kitchen drawer, an insecurely mounted towel rack, and a broken toilet paper mount. Management is comprised by monstrous individuals, vile villains, and thugs. Using extortion on a new vehicle on Thanksgiving is inexcusable.

I'm tired of being lied to over and over again, I'm tired of the abuse, and I'm tired of making excuses for them. I am livid, how do they justify this behavior to themselves? Who goes outside on Thanksgiving and looks for resident vehicles that tow away? I've spent nearly $1,000 in towing services because of their cruelty. I've spent a summer sweating bullets, I've been living with torn up carpet and an improperly mounted towel rack, and this all started when I was signing paperwork for the wrong apartment.

I urge anyone looking for a place to stay to steer clear of this establishment. They don't care about you, they don't even pretend to. With as expensive as their rent is, you'd think they would at least give you respect at a premium, but that has never been the case, and I see no evidence they will begin doing the right thing.
