I personally find the location ideal for someone who takes the train, likes quick food shopping and wants to go to a park for workout (there are some gyms around as well). And whenever I am in Bushwik (day or night) I never have safety concerns - unlike in most areas of Manhattan.
The lower floor has the kitchen and livingroom, w/d, some storage space as well as a half bath. The upper floor has the bedrooms and a full bath. The full bath has two entrances - one from the largest bedroom, and the other one from the corridor.
The main photo you see wasn't taken in the house but it gives you an idea of what you can do with a mirror and a little paint. You may change paint colors in the house provided you don't choose dark colors.
