Nice and beautiful place, but...
It's a beautiful apartment and a very nice location. The owner was very nice, but the property manager was a tad frustrating. She texted me (rather aggressively) for breaking a rule that wasn't mentioned in the lease, nor was the rule ever made aware to me (the rule I "broke" was that my dog went to the bathroom on my balcony, a balcony which nobody had access to except for me). She then falsely accused me of smoking in my apartment. After explaining to her that I hadn't smoked in the apartment,... nor had I smoked on the balcony (which she also insinuated I did), she proceeded to list the fees that I would incur for such an offense (which, again, I had not committed, and even explained so). Half the time that I was sent packages, I wouldn't receive an access code to retrieve them (and therefore could not enter the mail room), and one time a package was even opened (by someone else, though I do not know by whom) prior to me picking it up. Indoor parking can be difficult (depending on which spot you're assigned), as a huge truck prevented me from turning into my space (a space which was actually a parking lift, and therefor would damage my car if not parked perfectly), and my garage door fob stopped working about a month after I had moved in. I also rented furniture and silverware (which was admittedly at a very reasonable price) but the paint on the silverware began peeling off into my food when I attempted to used it... the property manager then threatened to charge me for damaging the silverware (how does that even happen??) oh, and the dishwasher literally fell out of the wall when I loaded it with any more than five plates...
