Manager is Awful

I wanted to post this review to warn renters about the manager at this location. I found her to be highly vindictive. My experience dealing with her has been awful. Maintenance requests went unanswered for months. The unit was very dirty when I moved in. The property has garbage all over the grounds. Tenants are constantly leaving. There is a hidden utility fee of $55 no one tells you about until after you sign the lease. Rent increases of $50 are guaranteed while the place continues to decay.... The floors are so creaky when you walk you wish you never signed. Find a better place for your money.

Property manager is terrible

never had any issues until the current property manager, Katie, was hired. I’ve contacted Katie multiple times about the parking situation (there’s assigned parking) when someone else has been parked in my spot and I’m left with nowhere to park. I’m a single mother of two small children so needless to say I was highly upset when I came home and had no where to park. I’m still waiting on her to return my multiple phone calls in regards to this. Another instance Katie stated that I did not pay my... rent on time when in fact I did and I even emailed the receipt I received from submitting my payment on time on the online portal. My rent money was originally never taken out of my account but I had a receipt stating it was submitted on time. I told Katie I had no problem submitting it again but I’m not paying a late fee as I already paid it on time and that there must have been something wrong with the online portal that we use to pay rent. (Katie stated she “never got my email”) just like how I contacted her twice after she left a letter on my door on May 5th about not receiving my rent. And I didn’t receive a phone call back until May 10th, which she stated she never received my voicemail, again. When Katie and I finally spoke on the phone she was very unprofessional and continuously talked over me and said there was nothing they could do about a late fee. When I asked to speak to her supervisor she stated “there’s no one” A couple days later Katie and I spoke again and stated that she does, in fact, have a supervisor named Laura. Katie stated that she isn’t able to give out Laura’s contact information so I told her I’d wait for Laura to contact me. Laura still has yet to get in contact with me. Apparently this whole establishment needs some help with professionalism and getting in contact with their residents. Anyway, May 26th I get a letter on my door stating that they’re having issues with the online portal that we pay rent on and are no longer using it because it’s “not user friendly and not reliable in our day to day operations.” It’s comical to me that from the beginning Katie stated they weren’t experiencing any issues with the online payment portal, yet they issued a letter to the residents stating the portal is unreliable. Katie also told me that if I don’t pay this late fee that she will not accept my June rent and it will be returned back to me lol

Building managers don't care

When I moved in they said they would clean my carpet (they didn't) and then they would replace in a year. They didn't do that either. They charge late fees even when the first falls on a holiday/weekend. The hot water is either scalding or ice cold. They never actually remove the snow, they plow one straight line through the parking lot. Parking is abysmal, walls are paper thin. The kitchen countertop in my unit was literally deteriorating. The only good thing about this place is the location.... That's it. We'll see if I get my security deposit back, but they will probably make me fight them for it.
