First Floor Floods Due To Poor Plumbing, But Fine Otherwise

Signed up a lease with a friend for one of the 2-bedroom apartments at the end of 2019 (lease started in January) for Apartment #4.
First few months were fine, but then we had the toilet backup on us, which cost us +$600 in fees that the landlords added to our next month's bill.
A month or two after that incident, we thought we were fine until the laundry room starting flooding. This of course got into our apartment. They sent over maintenance just to suck the water out of our apartment's...
carpet and turn off the water to the laundry room. Even then, it took emergency maintenance 2 days to show up.
The last incident that drew the line happened in August. We had lots of constant rain and the drain pipes on the building have been broken the whole time we were there and never fixed, leading to a waterfall just outside the living room window. The next day, we had to make an emergency move out of the apartment as the master bedroom starting flooding, which eventually got to half of the apartment.
