Heritage at Oakley Square

This place is a clown show. When you move into an apartment you'd expect the unit to be in working order, but not here. When I moved in my AC was not working and the apartment was 85-90 degrees inside during the heat wave we had this summer, when I asked them to fix it they blew me off for an entire month and would repetitively lie to me about the status of the repair. The office staff made me wait 3 weeks before offering me a portable AC until the apartments AC unit was fixed. I've also been… waiting for over 3 months for them to fix my ice maker and they have closed my work order 2 times and never fixed it and also lied to me about the status of that repair. The management here is a complete and utter joke and i highly do not recommend living here. The amenities are absolutely terrible, the pool was closed for the majority of the summer, there is always dog crap all over the place and on the sidewalks, and they leave massive piles of trash all over the property. I know multiple other residents here who have also had a terrible time dealing with broken appliances and AC and the incompetent office staff making them wait months for any work to ever get done with zero communication. What ever you do, DO NOT MOVE IN HERE. Based on my current experience, I would not recommend living at Heritage at Oakley Square.

My A/C stopped working during one of the hottest weeks of the year, and my apartment has gotten up to around 89°F inside (Currently 85°F). I was eventually told the compressor was broken and that the repair had to wait on corporate approval.

The worst part has been the communication. I was told I’d be kept updated throughout the process, but I haven’t gotten a single proactive update. Every time I’ve… wanted to know what was going on, I’ve had to walk into the leasing office myself. I also emailed asking for an update and never got a response.

I understand repairs can take time, but the lack of urgency and communication has been extremely frustrating! Read More

Everyone has been friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Some minor problems when we moved in were taken care of right away, could not recommend more!
