Bairsford Place Apartments

My dryer takes 2-3 cycles to dry my clothes which is making my electric bill high. Been trying to get resolved but they keep giving me the run around for the 2 years I've lived here then now the charging me $30 more in rent. Also, seen roaches in my apartment. DON'T RENT HERE!

People smoke weed in the parking lot all the time. People that don’t smoke in the parking lot get harassed but the people that actually DO don’t get said anything to so I think if you haven’t stayed here long, you’ll get harassed about everything you do. You’ll get random calls saying they think you’re moving out when there’s zero signs of such. Nice place but if you want some nosy neighbors that have nothing better to do than to sit outside & talk loudly, this is the place for you.

If you are willing to live in a neighborhood that isn't the nicest, the apartments are big for the price. Some crime, and lots of activity, but police are around often, so I feel safe as long as I'm not walking alone outside at night. Plenty of parking. Maintenance is horrible though, when you put in a maintenance request it can take weeks sometimes if it's not an emergency. The pool isn't bad, it's 10 feet which most apartment pools aren't. But it means there needs to be a lifeguard, and they… only hired one so pool hours are short, in addition to opening late in the summer and closing before Labor Day. The office is very hard to get ahold of, never returns calls, and is always busy. Seems like rent is a different price every month, and even if I pay the amount on the bill I get a notice saying I was $20 or $15 short. The walls and cabinets are an ugly color, and you're kind of stuck with them, so if you want to decorate you have to work with the color scheme they have. I would much rather just have white walls. As I said before the apartments are a decent price for the space given, and there are many floor plans and amenities to chose from depending on how much your'e willing to pay. Electric apartments are standard, but you can choose to add gas, washer dryer hookups, or central air. My two bedroom apartment only has electric, and two wall A/C units (one in the main bedroom and one in the living room). So if you don't mind living in an okay neighborhood and can don't mind that it isn't the nicest looking place, then it's not a bad place to live. Great for starter apartment because you don't need a rental history or credit as long as you can prove you make enough to pay for it. Read More
