About Norwich Court Apartments

Near The Ohio State University, this is quiet community features parking in the center and back doors for each unit to have a dedicated outdoor space.

Just across the street, there is a huge low-traffic park great for outdoor time with pets or for...
exercise. The dead-end street allows for a very quiet neighborhood without the usual disturbances in the campus/SoHud area.

Both two and one bedroom apartments are available, including many with major updates and renovations. Gas heat and cooking make utilities cost-efficient and provide a great cooking experience. All units are equipped with central air conditioning or are compatible with window units.

All bedrooms are set up for plentiful natural light and have great closet space. Many tenants use the two-bedroom units for a home-office and the one-bedroom units are bigger than most in the area, making this community a great fit for anyone who just doesn't have enough space in a one bedroom on campus.

Amenities may vary by unit.

DO NOT MOVE HERE

PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE

1) rodent problem. They have since put up a camera behind the dumpster but that does not stop the raccons and rats from being present at night.

2) THIEFS! My apartment almost got broken into TWICE. The first time I was actually in the house while someone was knocking but I ignored it. Eventually said person started to knock on the back door HARD but I ignored it and finally I heard my window screen being taken off which is when I woke up fully in my bed. Then the...
person started TO CLIMB THROUGH MY WINDOW as I walked toward the kitchen. I made a noise and the person hopped and started to flee. This was one of the scariest moments of my life. I called the police and they checked the windows and everything (more then what ME REAL ESTATE when I told them). ME real estate just suggested I made sure the windows were locked.......they already were, thanks ME real estate.

Oh maybe I shouldn't forget to add that I eventually got a security system (red flag when you HAVE to do this due to the environment) and guess what? While I was away for Christmas somebody tried to break in again but my security notified the police. Me real estates response? Nothing, absolutely nothing. No email back, no check in, no anything even though they were notified.

3) This one is similar to the second. My car and others has been robbed on more than one occasion. I admit this COULD be my fault for not locking the door but this is the type of people this area attracts. If you are a female I really wouldn't move here because if you go to your car at a bad time at night (while someone is trying to get into it!) you very well could be mugged. Unfortunate area to leave in.

4) This is the reason I decided to write the review even with all the other bad stuff. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT. They will find every little thing (even if it is normal wear and tear) and charge you the full price to fix the entire place.

Example, I had a metal futon and I wholly admit that one of the bolts was scratching the wall. Iy. Secondly, I had my bike up against the wall in the kitchen and the handle bars caused some wear and tear on the wall. Again, I admit this. This mark was bigger than the the futon one but again this is something that could be covered with a brush of paint or two, literally. So how much did they charge for these two minor repairs? THE FULL SECURITY DEPOSIT–$600. That's right, those small things alone caused me to lose my entire security deposit!

UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT!

be careful with these people.. they ask for huge security deposit and find ANY reason not to give it back. Most of there properties are rodent infested, and it’s so hard to get ahold of maintenance to do anything for you.
You talk to 100 different people and I have no idea who the “owner” of my property is.
Worst place I’ve ever lived.

You get what you pay for.

The good: location is nice, it's a safe place, there are 2 washers and dryers for 1.75 in the basement.

The bad: The entire time I have lived here, remodeling units and renovations have been taking place as early as 9 am and on weekends too. I can't come home from my morning job to take a nap and go to my other job because of all the noise. I can't sleep in ever because of the noise. I'm chronically sleep deprived because they start working, loudly, on adjacent units, or anything really. And...
they don't care that some people still occupy the building before working on their projects. There is also no AC provided.
