don’t rent here!
Don’t move here! The staff and maintenance are the most negligent incompetent of anywhere I’ve ever lived! This is a brand new building with no insulation. You can hear your neighbor sneeze through the wall that should be a firewall that clearly is not or he wouldn’t be able to hear them. We live over the garage. There is no insulation in the floor according to a subcontractor that came. The exterior door that goes to the outside patio is hollow. It’s not insulated so obviously let’s in a lot of... hot and cold. They have a heater in the floor to keep the waterlines from freezing that’s supposed to automatically turn on and off depending on the temperature weather below 30° or above 30° but the auto on off mechanism has been broke since October. So when we moved in, we had outrageous electric bills running our air conditioning because our apartment was 90° when it was 50° outside nobody could figure it out for 2 1/2 weeks then they finally figured it out and shut it off fast-forward to the subzero temperatures we had for the last two months and they couldn’t figure out how to turn it back on now they did and the temperatures are back up in our apartment is back up to almost 80°. They keep telling me that it’s off, but it’s clearly not.$500 electric bills due to poor building materials and lack of insulation. Cannot wait to get out of this place do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money. It’s the most overpriced crap place I’ve ever lived. It looks great but other than that it’s terrible. Also, if you love the smell of pot, you can smell it 24 hours a day in the hallways and there’s now people living here with Pitbulls. Twice in the last week, I’ve encountered a gentleman with a pitbull in the hallway who could barely control it and keep it from coming towards me. I’m not against pitbull‘s. I’ve owned one myself, but they are not supposed to be in this building. This is just more evidence of the incompetence of the staff and management of the property. For the price that you pay to live here, you would think they would do a little bit better job of making sure the Dog restrictions are followed, and that people are not smoking in the building, but they do nothing.
