For the price, you really can't beat this complex.
I've lived here for the duration of my undergraduate degree at Ohio State and just signed a new lease to move into one of the newly renovated units for the duration of my Master's degree program. Rent is incredibly cheap. While there isn't a washer dryer hookup or a dishwasher in the apartment, there is a coin-operated laundry room open most times of the day.
Management is extremely personable and friendly. Miss Penny is a no-nonsense complex manager and may seem brash at first, but she is... truly a sweetheart and cares about the needs of her tenants. The on-site maintenance worker Josh is extremely friendly and very helpful as well! Any time we've had an issue, whether that be the furnace dying in the middle of winter or the central air not being cold enough, they've responded usually within hours with a solution.
The renovated units are beautiful (which is what I and my roommate are moving into), clean, and have new floors (vinyl "hard wood") sink/countertops/fridge/stove/fixtures/bathrooms etc.
I have been very pleased with living here and look forward to staying here the duration of my next degree program.

The Chambers
While certainly no luxury apartment, The Chambers is extremely suitable for a post-grad to live within his means. Since they do not advertise online, finding this place was pure happenstance. On the edge of Grandview, The Chambers offers close proximity to The Ohio State University and the Wexner Medical Center, and is blocks away from downtown Grandview and a multitude of quality restaurants. Rent is affordable, around 450 for 1 bedroom apartments and 550 for 2 bedroom apartments. Although the... rooms are nice in size, floors are linoleum and some walls are wood paneling. Paint around the trim is sloppy, but these details are all purely cosmetic, and for the price, you can't complain. Apartments lack dishwashers or washer/dryer hookups, and the AC appears to be a window unit embedded into the wall. There is a coin-op laundry room however. Maintenance is usually quick to fix things during business hours, but don't expect the emergency on-call maintenance to respond. There is a beautiful courtyard which the buildings surround, and the landlord allows us to drink there(responsibly of course). The Chambers has given me a reasonably nice place to live and save a bit of money. I have enjoyed living here for the past three years.
No pets/non smoking
Pros: Price, Proximity, Maintenance, Courtyard
Cons: Cosmetic appearance, no dishwasher, coin-op laundry, no central AC, Emergency maintenance
Since price and proximity were the most important things for me, I gave this a 4 out of 5 star rating and have recommended The Chambers to friends.

The Chambers Apartments - Close to OSU, shops, and bike trail
The proximity to highways 315 and 670 make this a good location for commuters, and it is within walking distance of the OSU campus. Also with in walking distance are shops, a grocery store, and the Lennonx 24 Movie Theater. There is a bike trail nearby that runs along the Olentangy river for fitness enthusiasts. Both one and two bedroom apartments are available. Rents are comparatively inexpensive which is ideal for first-time tenants and college students. The management and maintenance... staff are friendly and quick to respond to any issues or problems.
