Crystal Lake Apartments

Having resided here for a couple of years, I recently wrote a review. Now, having lived here for over three years, I am pleased to report that everything remains satisfactory.

When maintenance is required, they arrive promptly, which is truly commendable. I have heard of places where service takes weeks to be provided. The maintenance crew is efficient, and if they cannot immediately resolve an issue, they find a suitable solution.

The office manager is very pleasant, fair, and efficient. He... treats everyone with respect and dedicates time to address each person's concerns.

While I have not personally experienced any crime, I cannot speak for others. However, I feel safe and comfortable in my residence.

The only concern I have is that my rent has increased by almost a hundred dollars each year. I am curious about the limit, and I understand that this is likely a company policy and not a reflection of the staff's actions. I suspect this is a common occurrence everywhere. Read More

They say they have zero tolerance for smoking within 25 feet of buildings but no one listens. My neighbor smokes on the balcony. I tried reporting but they did nothing. Buildings are shabby, maintenance repairs are cobbled together. You get what you pay for. There’s a reason they’re the cheapest in town.

Greg and the maintenance team are amazing. They care about their residents and make you feel important and heard.
I lived here as a transition between moving across country and finding my permanent home - They were extremely accommodating and helpful with anything and everything. Location was perfect.

I have lived here for just over a year and am transferring from a 2 bedroom garden apartment to a townhouse. Greg in the office is a superb property manager. He always makes time to talk about and address any concerns I have and has made the transfer process very smooth. The maintenance team is also excellent. All issues are addressed promptly and completely. I don't see myself leaving here any time soon.

I rented a 2-bedroom apartment with 2 others for 1.5 years with no complaints. The unit was up-to-date and had plenty of space. We only had to call maintenance once and they were quick to respond. Property is well-kept and I enjoyed having a balcony next to the lake. The neighborhood is quiet and the general area of Hilliard was a nice change after living in Central Columbus.
