Property has some work to do to make it home The experience itself, the tour with Bethany, was great. Office staff and communications were very accommodating.
Feedback on the property as a whole leaves some thought. There was a ln obvious emphasis on the clubhouse and it's amenities which seems like a great investment. The gym, office work space, billiards, and golf simulator would be such a great activity onsite. The outdoor pool area was beautiful!
For the units themselves, cutting living... space to add to bathroom and closet is frustrating. (Acknowledging that this is a popular trend in the new builds but frustrating all the same)The lack of seasonal storage is a consideration. The large doors that have to be opened in order to reach the W/D in the only hallway does not seem like a great setup in everyday life.
The additional charges for both the garage and garage utilities is frustrating, especially when there is such a lack of storage in the units. There is also a serious lack of counter space and with the dining rooms gone there is little space to prepare and serve food.
The lack of thought put into the design and flow of the community is truly based on a personal preference. Though there is a walking path, it is simply a path around the property, with no trees/shade, green space, etc. The dogparks are small and don't allow for a good run for medium or large breeds. Other properties are making their parks bigger and including equipment to run obstacle courses yet this brand new property simply put up a square fence.
Overall I was very excited for this property, it's clubhouse amenities are very cool. The layouts, though modern, do not use space as well as they should have.
The newly built communities should do a lot more to think of their residents. Read More

Great place to live I enjoyed my 2 years at Northstar. Clean, peaceful. Very nice all around. Angie, the manager, was excellent and on top of the property.

The place always stays nice and clean. I like the events but always during working hours ……… or I could make last few minutes

Beautiful Property and Great Management The Northstar Flats property is absolutely gorgeous, with beautiful apartment units and a really nice clubhouse and pool area. The best part is the management, however. Any time you have an issue or are just in the clubhouse Angie, Tyler and Bethany are there to chat and take care of anything you need. It’s a really great community!

Every weekend trash is piled ou on the ramp to the trash compactor
