Honestly I can't write much else that has already been written. You will NEVER receive any assistance over the phone or email so hope you don't have any questions. Sometimes the main office is closed when it should be open for some reason (Your guess is as good as mine).

If you are okay living with bugs and probably black mold then definitely rent here. If you decide to rent here DO NOT clean up your apartment when you inevitable move, they will charge you $200 for a cleaning fee no matter how... you leave the apartment. I left mine 10x cleaner then when I moved in but still got slapped with a huge paint fee with zero information on why.

I will say, they did earn the 1 star review because it is genuinely impressive how bad this place is at times. If I could do it all over again, I would probably just set up a tent somewhere and take my chances.

Don't walk RUN away from oxford oaks I have been trying to get them to do a repair on my ceiling for 3 months and they just don't care. I talked to management and they said they would handle it and they never did the maintenance crew is abysmal they don't care about the tenants and do not do the work in a timely manner and when they finally do it they do a landlord special and "fix" it the quickest and cheapest way possible. While there are some minor inconveniences and minor maintenance issues, the staff does the best that they can to make sure that residents are happy and honor their word for the most part. Neija especially, while getting a little backed up in the application process due to various circumstances, she did everything she possibly could to make sure that I moved in on time and honored all the specials for the time being. While these apartments are affordable, I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with maintenance. My AC has been broken for over two weeks, and despite multiple requests, the team keeps closing the tickets without actually fixing anything. With the rising heat, it has been really difficult to live comfortably, but unfortunately, there’s been no real effort to resolve the issue.

On top of that, a broken staircase in the complex was also reported, but instead of fixing it, the ticket was... simply closed. It feels like maintenance requests are ignored rather than addressed, which is really disappointing.

Yes, the rent here is lower than other places, but the amount of money and effort we end up investing in these non-functional apartments adds up quickly. If you’re considering moving in, I’d strongly recommend looking into a well-maintained community instead—one where issues are actually taken care of.

I highly suggest looking elsewhere for a place to live. I had a water leak that unfortunately turned to mold. The leasing management is completely useless. Save your money for something better!
