Indigo Apartment Homes is by far the GREATEST apartment I've ever lived in. Affordable prices, incredible living environment, and it's just a BEAUTIFUL view. When I moved into the City, I never thought everything would be near me. From a job to Walmart (which may be someone else's prospective job) to restaurants all over Penn Avenue. This place has an amazing view when facing the Von Maur from the balcony! Oh my god, this is such a wonderful place. I plan to live here for the long term. If I… were to ever EVER move somewhere else, it would be a house of my own. I applaud Indigo Apartment Homes for their VALIANT efforts to making such a wonderful and livable community.

The Indigo is a great place to live for me. The staff is always ready to help and be of service. The indigo is always hosting events to bring the community Together. Maintenance staff requests are always answered right away. The insides have nice, updated look. The security patrol is also a plus the pool is great during the summer and the distance to local venues and Restaurants are close. I recommend you check them out if you're looking to move to the area.

I've lived here for a year and some change and will be relocating at the end of September 2022.

PROS:
-Awesome staff, really topnotch
-beautifully remodeled apartments
-great appliances
-Weidner offers both a variety of online activities as well as in person
-They give great rates and move in specials to government workers
-coffee station within the office
-security after hours
-gates close at 7PM
-beautiful landscaping
-lots of families and young professionals

CONS:
-Rental prices increase… drastically after initial lease (at least for my neighbor and I)
-public spaces are incredibly packed making them inconvenient
- one working grill out of four available
-There is crime here....just Google the apartments and go to the news tab
-The walls are relatively thin. This means you can hear your neighbors.
-Dog poop is everywhere
-maintenance lacks; I've had to file 3 reports for the leak in my storage room to get fixed. It still isn't. They start repairs and close out the job when it's not done...like everytime
-They have large charges when you move out. This includes an $80 sterilization fee...yes, a sterilization fee. Airplanes don't even charge this.
-parking can be difficult at times
-Mailboxes are new but not used at all. They use the old ones instead.
-privacy can become a issue
-bathroom vents share conduit. This means if the neighbor smokes, your apartment will smell.
-no pantry in the kitchen, you have to use the cabinets
-no speedbumps within the parking lots. This means people flooring their autos constantly. Very dangerous.

Hello, I am currently a resident at Indigo Apartment Homes. The place here is absolutely stunning. The staff here are kind, amazing, and sweet, and they CARE about the residents. There are several times I can recall that when I was stressed when I was in a bad time or a dark age, they were encouraging. They helped lift me up. I don't know where I would be without their help.

This place is always amazing. I can go outside, look out my balcony, and see the city lights from where I stand. Granted… , you would have to have the right apartment, but yes. Also, privacy; I feel secure in my room. I feel like everything is awesome.
