The Edge at Midtown

I lived here for 5.5 years and just recently moved out when my home purchase was completed. This location went downhill from the time they sold in January 2021. They cut services to include on site security and the upkeep of the property can only be described as neglect. It’s all about collecting more fees and funds from the customer and doing less for them. Due to a logistical issue I would have moved in 2023 but was forced to survive here. The only good spot is the maintenance staff who try to... do what one guy can with a complex this size. Recently there are homeless in the hallways and even as you leave the parking garage they are asking for change like it’s an okc intersection. I will attach pictures of garage, dirty common areas and the homeless man I yelled at a month ago who was approaching cars. I have many more pics. If you are a single female or a family, this place is not for you. And if you do go here, DO NOT GET A POOLSIDE UNIT! There is no enforcement of the curfew and while you are preparing for rest and your next workday there will be a group of folks partying like it’s news years eve. Be ware and go elsewhere. Read More

I made such a mistake moving here. I have flickering lights and broken electrical plugs, carpet peeling up, and the staff just kept smiling and smiling.

The outdoor fob entrance is broken. No lights in the stairwell and it’s funny to them.

There’s this guys Isaac on the staff that tries hard to fix my stuff. But he can’t fix something that needs an electrician and more staff to fix.

I feel terrible because the staff is blaming the maintenance guy and it’s not his fault. And then they just... think it’s funny with some mean girl vibes. Read More

Worst experience living here. Nothing works in my apartment and the maintenance staff do not respond to your requests or make excuses as to why they can’t fox your lock/dishwasher etc. Elevators are often broken and the garage security door is always out of service. Doors are left propped open at night and it can be a scary place. Be warned.

So happy to be out of this complex! So many issues while living there. Had a guy try to break into my fourth floor apartment, by climbing over the balcony divider, while I was laying in bed and the manager at the time told me it was just "boys being boys". About two months prior to this happening I came home one night and my whole apartment smelled like straight weed! The same neighbor had smoked so much in their apartment that it came through the vents. Security was called and the complex,... again, did nothing about it! So good for the drug free/safe community! Smh! The girl above me locked her barking dogs out on the balcony ALL THE TIME, multiple videos sent/shown to staff that were swept under the rug. For the price you pay, it was a major let down to feel like I was living in a college dorm! I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy rent from this place. The apartment complex itself was amazing, but the staff sucks! Found out that there is a new manager, so hopefully she will be making some changes around the place and with some of the old staff for the sake of the current tenants. Read More
