Avana Powell Valley

The past 3 months have been interesting for sure with ups & downs. For the most part, I have appreciated the willingness of the staff at Avana at Powell Valley to help the residents at the complex, as managing properties is a difficult job. I have gotten a lot sorted out with the complex by simply speaking to them, but there are things I feel should have been addressed prior to moving in here. Nevertheless, I am satisfied at the moment with how things are handled for the most part when it comes... to how this property is managed & I appreciate the staff always trying to make an effort to communicate about whatever is needed from the residents or if there is an update the community needs to know about. When I first came here the property could very much be described as “fixer”. Paint was old and peeling, several exterior finishes of multiple buildings were falling off or missing, drainage was blocked creating giant lakes when it rained, the balcony’s had rotten boards, the pool area was old and of questionable sanitation, the landscaping was either overgrown or bare in spots frequently covering signs of buildings making it difficult for delivery people to find, lighting at night was absent or... flickering creating opportunities for package theft and car break ins. Greystar provides a great community living experience, quick to answer service calls and response time! the grounds are kept tidied trimmed and nice! extra care with new roofs on all the buildings as well as siding and or paint... very peaceful and quiet. going on 3 years living here and no problems, well kept! a satisfied happy tenant thanks Greystar employees for making this home and doing the extras for community fun! sincerely, leslee wilcher
