The property manager changed a couple years ago and the property management has suffered. Management is poor at communicating, often not responding to tenants. Pipes have burst, resulting in multi-floor floods several times. Management fails to provide alternative housing, causing tenants to live in flooded units as loud fans attempt to dry them out. Building-wide fire alarms go off routinely (about 1-3 times per month), resulting in building-wide evacuations. This building is in such a great location, after months of searching it is one of the more reasonably priced places for how new and nice it is. It is right in between 23rd/21st and the Pearl district, so it's kind of the "Portland area we know and love". There's no AC provided, which is something to keep in mind in case PDX has another crazy summer. We fell in love with this apartment the minute we saw it. You get to pick the color you want your living room wall to be. There is a recycle/trash shoot on every floor. Granite countertops And a great walk in shower and nice wood floors. Mail and packages are safely delivered inside. Located in the middle of a very happening area!
