ORO feels like home. Safe, secure, and centrally located.

ORO continues to be a good place to live for me. They are handling outside events that are beyond their control by asking us all to take a stake in security. Which I think we all need to do as tenants anyway. But, they are actively working to correct anything that is wrong, needs to be fixed or cleaned, etc. All of my concerns are addressed right away and considering the state of downtown Portland (including The Pearl) over the past year, ORO does seem to be doing everything they can to help it… be the nice place we all want it to be. ORO is a good building to live in, with nice residents and it is well kept and clean. It's relatively new to The Pearl and I think will adjust over time, which is true for any new building. I think that the owners will listen to me if I say something. So, I feel good about that. And the maintenance is top notch.

Moving into ORO was the best move I have made in probably 25 years. After owning several times, I just decided it did make more financial sense for me to rent. But, trying to find a good place to live with the amenities I wanted was nearly impossible. Then, by chance, using a new search engine to find apartments, ORO popped up. That is how I ended up here. I am grateful every day to myself and my friends who made this all possible. The building is clean almost completely to my standards (which… are ridiculously high, by the way) and the professional cleaners come twice per week for all the common areas. They actually CLEAN, so after the weekends, which always brings more traffic into the building, and on Friday's the place, every common area, the lobby bathroom, the bike room and dog wash- everything is very well cleaned. This is one of main reasons I chose to live here. The other reason I love it here so much is that the staff has been phenomenal with helping me with anything to get settled. The parking structure works very well, and there are never problems with the matrix or with the door. There are conveniently located trash cans to handle doggie bags after walks, etc. And, the appliances are top end and they perform as such too. Neighbors have been great and the Property Managers, regardless of who it might be are wonderful. Special shout outs to Brittney and Jackie! Marcus is the on site service man and he is available to help you with anything. And he is super nice, too. I think the amenities are awesome and the system they use to pay rent on line works very well. The common area utilities seem reasonable based on a number of factors, but I know unit size has something to do with it. Sound proofing is really good too. It's affordable, clean and nice living. And easy access to any of the freeways and
several different neighborhoods and downtown and the Pearl as well. Read More
