Lakemont Gardens will always hold a special place in our heart. It was my husband and I's first apartment together. We only left as we decided it was time to purchase a house as in the future our family would be growing. The apartment itself, was completely perfect for us as it included 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, a nice living room area, kitchen, laundry room, and balcony. It was in a nice quiet area as well. My wife and I can't say enough nice things about Lakemont Gardens. It seriously is a hidden gem, tucked away in a quiet community. It's incredibly convenient being in walking distance to Giant Eagle and close enough to I-79. Anything you'd need to do is right downtown in Bridgeville, Heidelberg, Washington, Robinson, or near South Hills Village. If you want to catch a baseball, football, or hockey game, you're only about 30 minutes to downtown Pittsburgh. For those looking for the bus line, the... old Star City theater nearby is one of the stops. Or travel 20 minutes over to South Hills Village to grab the T. In terms of the upkeep of the apartment, the maintenance and office staff are incredibly friendly. The maintenance guy is a real stand up guy, and is always quick to make repairs. The owners are ALWAYS making improvements to their community as to make things feel fresh and up-to-date. Right before moving in, one or more of our appliances were replaced, and we even had new carpeting installed. In terms of the size of the apartment, our 2 bedroom affordably priced apartment is more than enough space. The master bedroom has two walk-in closets, we have our own laundry room in our unit, and private porch with sliding door facing the woods. My husband and I have lived at Lakemont Apartments for over a year. He tells me all the time that I "hit a homerun" when I found this apartment. It is surrounded by woods, so the view is lovely year around. We even see deer, rabbits, squirrels and birds from our porch. It is secluded and quiet both outside and in the apartment. The management team and maintenance are very quick to respond to every request, although there are very, very few problems because the property is so well maintained.(the... parking lot was just resurfaced!) The space compared to the price makes it the best deal that you can find in this area. The neighbors are lovely and thoughtful. The location is great- 20 min to South Hills shopping, 25 minutes to the airport, 20 minutes to downtown, close to I-79. Groceries, dry-cleaning, liquor store, and pharmacy are a five minute WALK. We absolutely love this apartment! Gorgeous, super spacious apartment with two walk-in closets in the master bedroom alone! Large storage area with in-suite laundry room. Leasing office and maintenance were very attentive and prompt on the rare occasion they were needed. Landscaping was impeccable, and snow removal was prompt and thorough. The apartment had a large private balcony. The complex is located on a private street which was very peaceful and quiet—no noise from neighbors! Amazing... location close to I-79, grocery store, downtown, and Bridgeville. Well maintained, clean, private pool included.

Fantastic location with restaurants and groceries/liquor within walking distance. The interiors have been incredibly well maintained and look very new. My 3rd floor unit has a really nice vaulted living room, lots of big closets, a huge storage/utility room almost the size of a 1 car garage, wood plank flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms, and a nice balcony. The unit is very quiet and I rarely hear a thing from the neighbors next to and below me. I'd highly recommend touring this property... because in my opinion its the nicest and biggest for this price range in the area. Read More
