Noisy all night long

Parking spots are numbered but people will take your spot anyway. Guest spots are taken by cars that seldom (or never) move. If you park for only a few moments on the street they have a towing company (not local, high mileage tow) watching ready to grab your car quickly. Children playing in the streets until late hours unattended, and they often refuse to get out of the way to let you drive past. Neighbors are outside talking until 2-3 am almost every day. Not just weekends. Maintance is slow... but usually nice guys. Rent goes up mid lease.

Rip off at the end

I rented one bedroom apartment in the forest green commons community from 2011 to 2016 for a total of 4 years 10 months. Never had any issues with the apartment except the noise way past midnight especially during the summer from children still playing outside !!!

During the beginning of my stay and to a decent part towards the middle, there would always be someone at the office on the days it was supposed to be open - Tuesdays and Thursdays and I could hand over my rent, discuss issues etc....
Also, someone would pick up the phone at the number listed in the website. However, towards the end of my stay, the office remained closed even though it is still listed to be open during both days.

I knew that I needed to give a month's notice in writing to move out. I tried to contact someone in the office in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays and over the phone but to no avail. So, I slipped a written letter into the office on May 1 indicating of vacating the apartment by May 31st. I still wanted to make sure I covered all my bases and would check in to see if the I could get hold of someone at the office and got the Myers Ridge number to call stuck to the door one day. On may 31st, I slipped in the key and forwarding address after talking over the phone to the number I had found earlier and making sure that was okay.

Now, nobody comes to the office for 16 days to pick up the keys/letter and I am charged the rent for those days after staying at the place for almost 5 years and paying up in time every time?? Thank you forest green commons !! You should have come end of June and could have kept the entire month's rent !! Keep up the good work !!
