Eclipse at Belmont

My wife and I lived at the Eclipse at Belmont for almost 2 years and only left because we purchased a home. We had a lovely first floor, corner 2BR apartment that had a spacious floor plan and its own exterior entrance. These apartments are definitely a bit pricier, but I feel like they deliver in feeling a bit more like a home than just another apartment complex, and I would have no issues recommending them to a friend.

Some of our favorite things:
1. Location is A+. Access to all major... highways and downtown Lancaster is very easy. You’re also within easy walking distance to everything that Belmont has to offer. Despite this, you are really tucked away behind all of the noise, and we found the complex to be pretty peaceful and quiet.
2. Walking trails and sidewalks make it easy to go for an evening walk. Lots of folks out taking their dogs for walks or just enjoying the fresh air.
3. This is probably influenced a bit by the location of our apartment within the complex, but we found the noise from neighbors to be less than other apartments we’ve lived in.
4. No carpet at all in our unit! This was a must for us because one of our cats likes to destroy it. Finding apartments with no carpet can be harder than you might think.
5. In my experience, parking was very easy, and we almost always got a parking spot right outside our exterior door. Some detached garages are available for rent as well.
6. All of my interactions with apartment management were great. The apartments are still pretty newish, so we didn’t have many maintenance requests, but any that we did have were taken care of promptly.

Some things to note:
1. This complex is pretty light on amenities. No pool, no gym, and management is off-site. Also, no elevators if you’re on an upper floor. You’re paying for the location, the spacious floor plans, and the peace and quiet.
2. Each building section has its own key fob access which is great for security but can lead to some issues with package delivery.
3. Traffic in the area can get a bit heavy, mainly around peak times and the holidays. We only really found it exceptionally annoying in December.

This quiet and relaxing apartment complex is conveniently located for an easy drive into Lancaster city and the Amtrak station. We love the walking paths for access to shopping and restaurants. We love the large kitchen and ample cabinet space. Communication with management is simple through the Eclipse portal. Any questions or maintenance needs are addressed quickly and professionally. We made a great decision when choosing Eclipse!

Not a smoke free community. people smoke on balconies and by the doors with door open. can hear everything neighbors do. ongoing construction since april. dumpsters overflowing. spraying toxic chemicals on a weekly basis. lease will state you can pay monthly and then they refuse to give you the keys until you pay them entire year up front plus water and sewer.
