About 205 Robinson St

This is a second floor, one bedroom, one bathroom unit located in a concrete building. The unit features hardwood floors, dishwasher, electric stove, built in microwave, oak cabinets, and plenty of closet space. Landlord pays water, sewage and trash.... Tenants pay electric. Heat is electric. One window AC unit will be provided.
This is a 24 unit, brick building on Robinson Street in Oakland. It is conveniently located 1 1/2 blocks away from the University of Pittsburgh, Carlow University, multiple hospitals, and is close to the bus line. Each unit comes with one assigned off street parking space. There is coin operated laundry and extra storage in the basement.
There are bike racks inside the building on each floor.
Landlord will pay water, sewage, and trash disposal. Tenant pays electric only. There is electric baseboard heat.
All of our properties are pet friendly for friendly pets with a two-animal maximum. There are no breed or weight restrictions. We require proof of rabies vaccinations (and licenses for dogs), but we do not charge additional rent or fees for animals.
Smoking is not permitted in any of our properties.
Leases at our Oakland properties can end July 15th, July 31st, or August 15th of each year.

Over-priced but nice

The Robinson St apartments come in singles and doubles; I had a single. Wood floors, gas heat, stand alone Ac unit, electric oven/burner. It's a decent size, but at least $200 than every apartment in Oakland. But you also aren't getting frats or too many college kids, and parking for 1.

The dryers and washers are awful, the apartment complex always smells awful, and from the outside it looks like a prison. The landlord is average, rather short with responses.

Overall, it's good enough if... you're completely out of time looking for an apartment and have a lot of money. Location is 50/50 good/bad, getting on 376 is hard if you follow the traffic laws.

This is my third and final year here.
