Worst 3 years of my life.
Terrible place to live. Childish and loud management. They are petty and conniving. They are NOT personal friendly.

I lived here for 3 years and I had a great experience. Management and maintenance were pleasant and always willing to help. The building was always kept clean and secure. The lofts are beautiful with many amenities. Recommend!

I lived here for 2 years with a few problems. The management company blamed me and my roommate for a broken AC unit and instructed us not to set it lower than 70. They specifically told us that if the AC unit malfunctioned again, we would be held liable through no fault of our own.
When we were moving out, we were charged nonsensical fees such as $10 for "light kitchen cleaning" (which we had done) and $25 for "baseboard cleaning." They charged us $670 for a new stovetop despite it being clean... and in perfect working order. They claimed we had left a mess on it, despite our photo proof that we had not.
I will never live in a Dalkey property again.

My roommate and myself lived here for two years and it was fine. We are hard-working and honest people. We would clean regularly and took pride in our home and how it looked. In our last apartment we had no issues and received our full security deposit back after moving out after 3 years. When moving out of this location we received the expectations for ending the lease and thought that they were a bit extreme. For example, the tenant was asked to pay for carpet cleaning, and show proof of the... cleaning by turning in a receipt. The only carpet in the apartment was on the stairs, which we vacuumed regularly, and in the third floor loft, which we barely used but also made sure to vacuum regularly. We were intentional about making sure that our apartment was following the move out expectations provided. We were shocked to find that not only did we not get our security deposit back, but we also were being charged an additional $400 (totaling $900). Some of these things were expenses that I believe should have been paid for by the landlord and not the tenant. For example, a new rim on the washing machine. It was in perfect working condition when we left and did not seem to have any problems so we’re not sure why we are expected to pay for that. Also they replaced the glass stove top in the kitchen. They provided a photo that showed a mess that was not on there when we moved out. We provided a photo and offered video proof from the day we moved out showing that that was not there but we were told that we must have left the mess because no one had access to the apartment. In addition to that, they said that the scratches left on the stove top were more severe than what two years of normal wear and tear would look like. Again, in the photo we provided for them you can see a good stove top with no “severe” damage. It was cleaned regularly and was in perfectly working condition when we left. There were a few scratches but that comes with two years of using a glass stove. This whole experience of moving out and ending our lease completely ruined the two good years we had living there. I feel like I was not valued as a tenant, and if you were considering living in this location or any other Dalkey property, just be warned that they will try to take advantage of you when you are moving out. I do not recommend living here.

The good:
A well-kept property. The units are a good size with windows on one wall. Staff are pleasant and the common areas are clean. Gym and game room are also pros
The bad:
They'll try to scrape back any amount of the security deposit they can. I was charged for "cleaning" that I had already completed at a surprising rate. Their proof for the cleaning was dubious at best.
Also, they do not keep the common area temperatures at 68 degrees Fahrenheit from October 1st through May 31st, which... is required in RI. After a request, they did raise the temp to 67, but then turned it down again a month later.
Final Results:
Generally well-kept property and courteous staff, but you'll have to keep the management group accountable and watch out for any opportunities, real or imagined, for them to hold on to more of your money.
