Awesome
We moved here in December 2016. As soon as we walked into the beautiful, historic lobby we knew we were home! Shannon, the property manager is wonderful. She was welcoming and made our out of state move an easy one. She is readily available and always helpful. The gym and outdoor decks for cook outs are great amenities. Anyone who visits loves it! We love living downtown and are so happy we found this unique and great place!!

Prime location in a historical building
The Calhoun is a gem in the vastly growing downtown area of Anderson. I'm in my 2nd year of leasing. I absolutely love the sense of community here! The view is amazing outside of my window and i love my apartment! I have always had top notch treatment and care from the staff here, not that I've actually needed anything. The property manager is top notch. My every request was met before I agreed to sign my lease. Never any issues with anythng. While I've been here I've seen an ownership change,... which went very smoothly, as I saw from the outside. Many great improvements and changes have taken place with the new ownership which has taken things to an even higher standard of living. Ive got so many friends here that feel like family. I love having the security of the key coded front door and everyone looking out for their neighbors. The property manager goes out of the way daily to please each tenant like they are the only tenants. The new owners take an active role in keeping the units in excellent move in condition. They even have corporate units throughout the building that stay fully booked with many local industries and businesses. No doubts here that I'll be here for another lease! Highly recommended!

Do not move here. They promise and lie to you. Do not believe anything they say including rent. They add in trash , but don't take it out and it smells awful. They say gym -but nothing works. Dirty, smelly , no management. Lights out in stairwell for months, no gas for grills, NO MANAGEMENT . Manager is never there, doesn't care about anything but her self. Dishonest, lazy are how I would describe her. I can't wait to leave. Nice thing- it is downtown.

Sucks
This place does suck. Up until a year or so ago it was nice with nice people and good maintenance. Now it is terrible. Everything I read I agree with. There is no management. The trash smells , there are flies, the elevator is spotty and may get stuck. The gym is a joke, the manager is non existent. Wow- I wish I could work a few hours a week and do nothing during those hours. They do also lie to you about everything. The location is nice - but I am moving as soon as my lease is up - and... everyone else moves too.
