Poor Management and Experience
I have lived at 42 Magnolia for over a year.
In my year here, management has changed, and to say the transition has been rough is an understatement. The management is completely unresponsive to inquiries, regardless of the avenue (Phone, Residence Portal, or Email). I have been charged multiple fees I shouldn't have been, and when I inquired about them, crickets...
On multiple occasions now, our apartment's internet service has been de-bulked and cut off due to management's failure to meet... its obligations. This is unacceptable when my spouse works from home.
It is nearly mid-June, and the pool is still closed and disgusting.
Communication with residents is passive-aggressive or non-existent. I have serious concerns about whether the other fees we are charged every month are actually going to the services we pay for, like pest control.
I could not, in clean conscience, recommend anyone move here, which is a shame, as the location in Forrest Acres is what makes it attractive. The rent is too high for the quality of the living space, and the management doesn't help in making it any easier to stomach when they are so poor.
