Hampton Greene Apartment Homes

I lived here August 2020-October 2022. I do not recommend purely due to the owners. They do not care even a little about the residents. When I left, the volleyball court was destroyed, the tennis court was damaged, but the pool was decent. My AC broke 3 times, the first time it took them 2-3 days to fix it and my apartment was 90 degrees. They didn’t offer me another place to stay during this. Not sure what cheap materials they’re using for it to break 3 times in 2 years. My washer broke around… June 2022 and they NEVER replaced it. They always gave me an excuse and didn’t compensate me at all for paying to use their washers. I moved out 2 weeks early and they charged me for an extra day???? They kept a big chunk of my deposit over the stupidest things and took a long time to refund the “extra day” of rent that never happened. When I moved in, the screen door was damaged, kitchen cabinets were damaged, and windows were broken. It’s not worth it. The gates were constantly left open as well, so forget safety. Just moved in here sight unseen hoping the photos and reviews would be an accurate representation of what to expect.
They are not. Our apartment is so small and dingy and all the appliances and cabinets haven’t been updated in YEARS.
Definitely do not recommend.

Moving to Columbia for work was stressful. The office staff was great in assisting me. They're always friendly when I call or stop by to pick up a package. Recently maintenance stopped by to replace my smoke detector battery. They offered to take my trash on their way out. I have made some new friendships with my neighbors. So far this has been a great experience! I highly recommend Hampton Greene for anyone looking to live in the Columbia area.

This is the worst run apartment complex I’ve ever seen. I’m so glad I no longer live here, best decision I’ve ever made.

Management only cares about money and doesn’t care about insuring that the apartments are safe for you to live in. This complex is a complete violation of habitable tenant rights.

If you decide to live here, don’t let them put you on the first floor. They use cheap vinyl flooring and any movement in the apartment above you can be heard.

Ventilation is terrible and the air… condition/heat system is old. Hope you like a dusty apartment because you’re apartment will never be clean. Read More
