I community is very nice and has what we require to live with ease. There are some great amenities in the community. The floor plans make sense and there is a great deal of storage space. I came from oversea's so I can appreciate the extra closet space. Great floor plan and modern updates is what got me to live here!

Heron lake seems to be under new management again. So far the new team is making good changes to the community. I wish the communication with when things like pest control and other regular up keep was communicated better with more notice. Breezeways could all use a good cleaning as well which hasn’t seemed to happen in a long time. Fingers crossed this new management will stick to getting things done

Nice complex with great amenities. Reason for 4 stars is I have been her for over a year and when I first moved I asked about the breezeway being pressured washed and here it is a year later and residents was told there would be one 3 months ago and still nothing which makes the outside looks awful and I have to try and clean as much debris around my doorway due to EVERYTIME I walk out I get a spiderweb in my face. Me and my kids are routined to using N outside broom before walking out the door... in the morning. Outside is where the bugs are which is understandable the issue is due to the years of no pressure wash it makes it worse and the dryer vent debris coming outwards is not making it any better which I make an effort to clean the outside on my side. A pressure washing once a year after the pollen season is necessary and makes it easier for residents to upkeep around their door

We need more parking options. The mailing system really needs to be better organized. My packages get placed the locker however I dont get a code and im tired of talking about it. The dog poop is not cool and the units need better insulation from the elements and noisy neighbour who hop on the stairs and stomp around their unit all hours if the day.
