Unacceptable!! Calls have been made, emails have been sent so maybe now this may get your attention!! My daughter has asthma!!! I have gone to the doctor on several occasions for sinus infections because of the dust particles around the hot water heater & AC. I have never had any sinus issues before living here! I have requested that they send a professional to come clean, but they sent the maintenance to clean instead. I believe it could be mold because the smell is horrible & I am very… disappointed at this point! I have to constantly clean with bleach one a daily to kill the odor! Only been here for 4 months and may not make it to 6!!! ???? This is ridiculous, and management should be ashamed. I am very disappointed in the way our move out charges were handled. I was contacted for so many things- cars broken into, pool closing, broken water main, no water working- but never any move out charges. They did not even give me a chance to pay- just sent it straight to collections!!! They continued to charge rent after we moved out because I did not give written notice of move out?? So happy I'm finally leaving this place. Moved in had water bug issues even though the house the perfectly clean due to outlets being lose didn't get fixed til I posted a review. Fridge has been out for two months, only 2 outlets work in both bedrooms. All things we have called about repeated and still nothing. They've been down once to look at the fridge. They told us we were putting too much on food on one side of fridge that's why it's not freezing evenly. Low and behold rearranging food did… not work. Never got an answer as to why I can't use my outlets and no one was coming out so gave up calling cause we only had a month left. Get the the last month I've called them several times to let them know we were leaving even left messages for a call back got nothing I have screen shots. I call yesterday after several failed attempts to reach them and am told all I have to do is send an email so they can know I'm vacating. Now I have to send an email and cough up 500 dollars. Paces Run has been a great place to reset and prepare for your next move. I’ll list some of the pros and cons of living here as a new resident. Firstly, the staff have been friendly for the most part. I was worried about seeing roaches based on the reviews and I’ve been blessed to avoid that. It’s very quiet and the neighbors are friendly. It’s also less than 15 minutes away from the base which is a plus. Now for the cons.. The electric bill is outrageous. I travel a lot with my job and am… rarely home. For maybe being home for 2 weeks out of the month my electric bill was 150.00, which is a lot for one person in a one bedroom. Next, the trash area is always overflowing and very unattractive. It is also extremely hard to get in contact with the office on the phone. There are days that I’m out of town and will call 10-15 times throughout the day, sometimes still not reaching anyone. Another issue for me has been my alarm system. I was told it would take 2 weeks to be up and running, and it’s been three months. After calling multiple times, and speaking with someone that told me that they would call me back, and never did, I still do not have a functioning alarm system. (It’s important to me because I do travel so often.) Overall rent is reasonable and the location, over the bridge, is pretty good.
