Rothwood Apartments

I can no longer recommend living at this apartment complex due to the ongoing safety concerns and the way management has handled them.

There have been multiple vehicle break-ins, and many residents have repeatedly asked for increased security, including hiring a full-time courtesy officer. Instead of taking these concerns seriously, the office manager, Blanca, has refused to even accept copies of police reports from residents documenting the crimes occurring on the property.

The most... concerning interaction occurred when a resident came to the office the morning after being the victim of a crime to report what had happened. Rather than focusing on the reported crime or showing concern, Blanca threatened to call the police because the resident wasn’t wearing shoes.

Residents deserve to feel safe where they live and to have management that takes crime reports seriously, works with law enforcement, and advocates for improved security. Dismissing repeated safety concerns while vehicle break-ins continue creates an environment where residents feel unheard and unprotected.

I sincerely hope management begins prioritizing resident safety by working with the community, documenting reported incidents, and implementing meaningful security measures before the situation gets worse. Read More
