Southwind Lakes Apartments

They claim in the listed features that the apartments have Vaulted Ceiling and Crown Molding but neither is true, it also lists features such as business center which is also not true. While it does have a pool, exercise room and club house they are only accessible during business hours and since they no longer have anyone in the office on weekends it pretty much renders those useless for most people. It was just recently sold to a new owner, an LLC. In the past 3 weeks they have changed the... acceptable payments 3 times, from not accepting personal checks to Only accepting payments thru the portal which not even acceptable at the time of the notice to accepting all prior forms of payment including checks. When I was finally able to access the portal the record on my payments was incorrect, even including an additional payment I never made. When I asked if a garage was available they couldn't seem to identify which were rented and had request that info from the tenants! And even thou I have been renting a carport in addition to apartment rent they show records of that rental or additional fee. We have not received a notice as yet to inform us if after hours emergency service, security patrol is to continue and list of numbers to call if so. So all in all the transition to new ownership was handled extremely poorly and does not bode well for what we can expect in the future from this management group. Read More

My experience at southwind lakes apartments was very outstanding! Property manager brandon was very professional awesome customer service.and very on time with all of my questions nothing missed his leasing Agent destiny was also very good the staff was very authentic with my helping process.awsome job southwind lakes you all are the best nice neat and bright community. The staff is exceptional !

I've lived here going on 4 years now. The office staff is very professional and helpful. I always receive great customer service. The property is always kept clean. I never had an issue with them fixing any problems I have, and they do it in a timely manner. The maintenance staff is respectful and do the jobs. Rent is reasonable price. I really enjoy living here and plan to renew my lease again.

This is a horrible apartment complex!!!! My car was broken into, A total of 21 cars is what the officer told my husband.The staff everything about this apartment is horrible! If I could give them zero stars I would.
