Lots of historic charm, helpful staff, good tenants

I'm glad that I chose the Gilmore Apartments. The historic building has lots of character, the location in Midtown is ideal, the staff are consistently kind and helpful, and there is a great mix of tenants. I feel safe living here and the gated parking lot is a good amenity. Keep in mind which side of the building you might live in because the sunset and the sunrise affect how much natural light you'll receive. Also, living at the intersection of McLean and Madison means there is a significant… amount of street traffic, loud music, etc (I don't mind it too much, but there might be some people who are more sensitive to that sort of stuff).

Great Neighborhood!

I’m not just talking about out the midtown area, I’m talking about the 8 floor neighborhood that The Gilmore offers. Residents all know each other and the staff makes sure it is a 5-star experience. It isn’t easy running a 100 year old building, but the staff makes it look easy! 10/10 recommended!

A Timeless Gem in Midtown Memphis

I am beyond grateful to call this Historic landmark the Gilmore my home. This Complex has stood the test of time for a Century!! Wow! Staff goes above and beyond in response and care. Tenants are friendly, respectful and welcoming. Our Fur Babies are our family too! Our Location is a vibrant neighborhood with a stone’s throw away for food, shops, or entertainment. PERFECT Balance of convenience and charm. I found my place here with “Community, Character and Charm”. I couldn’t be happier living… here and I’m so thankful to call it home.

Highly Recommend

The Gilmore is definitely a quiet and safe building to live at. Office maintains the building with top priority!! The location is highly desirable also!! You’re in the middle of EVERYTHING! Walking distance to the best restaurants and to also mention a nice little deli downstairs!

Living at The Gilmore Apartments has been an incredible experience! From the moment I moved in, I was struck by the perfect blend of historic character and modern amenities. The location is unbeatable — walkable to some of the best dining, shopping, and entertainment options in Downtown Memphis. I’ve loved being able to explore the city without needing to drive… everywhere.
