Fairway Square

This place was great when I first moved in a little over a year ago. Then when the managers had to leave and the property got sold to new owners everything started falling apart. They put the incompetent office assistant in charge during a strange limbo where nobody was really in charge. After the big freeze we were without hot water for a month and we all thought that they just weren't doing anything about it because we were poorly informed throughout the ordeal and then told that we don't even… have a right to know they're just doing us a courtesy by telling us. They also fired what seems to be the only competent maintenance person here. Nick was awesome and got stuff done. Now all that's left is the other guy and all I see him doing is cleaning the pool we can't use and walking around on his phone. Every time someone tries to complain the new owners deny that there's any incompetence and that these people have been doing a good job. From what I understand none of the tenants think that. We are all mad. We are all tired. I strongly recommend finding another complex to live in as of right now. I have lived at Fairway Square Apartments since 2013, and I have always felt at home. However, with that being said, since the change of ownership and management, this place has greatly improved! When I recently decided to move upstairs from my downstairs apartment, the staff was extremely accommodating. It is so peaceful and quiet, and I feel safe living here. This is a close-knit community where everyone speaks and looks out for one another. The fact that the CEO and CFO are available and… accessible is such a blessing! I have lived here for a year now. I can NOT tell you how happy and proud I am.to call this, Home. The new Owners and our amazing Management and CEO/CFO have always been so polite and helpful. They have activities in the Clubhouse daily and the laughter is just wonderful. The laundry room is always open and clean. The pool has been so much fun. They are out there every day and spend time with all the residents. I'm telling you, this is a Home not an apartment complex.

The management is completely unprofessional.if you have any issues, they try to make it seem like it's your fault. Unless it's life or death; don't hold your breath waiting to have something repaired. The maintaince man & Zee are the only good things about this property. Management again is completely unprofessional. Their priority is smoking cigarettes and socializing with a group of elderly people. You cannot walk into the office without walking thru a dense fog of cigerette smoke & vaping… smoke. The smell in the office is so horrific it will make you vomit. You cannot use the business center as all the elderly people take all the chairs for their games. You can't swim in the pool unless you want to be stared down by creepy old men. The back of the complex has nothing but criminal activity. Drug dealers. The management is most likely customers as they know this criminal activity is going on and they do nothing about it. Ever since this management duo have been employed here, these Apt's have gone down the tubes. There are sewer leaks everywhere, the city of Alvin does nothing about them. These apts have a serious black mold problem, roach infestation, rat infestation and are complete trash.. do not bother renting here. Read More
