After a difficult major downsizing, The Orchards is now our very comfortable home. The layout of the facility, the amenities, our neighbors, the apartment itself, the social events and our new friends make it a great place to live. We’re close to everything: shopping, restaurants, and medical. We’re couldn’t ask for better.

Moving out of a traditional 3BR/Office home to a one-bedroom was a huge step in my life. After becoming a widow and keeping up with a traditional home it became clear I could care for just me in a 55 community. Although the transition was huge, in a few short weeks, the major move to offload huge items in a home and downsize to an apartment, has been so worth it. One has to learn how to use spaceaids and offload 'things' one holds onto. I found in community apartment living, I am not alone.... There are so many individuals that reach this crossroads and happier because they acted on downsizing to apartment living.
