Deb Groom has lived in Austin, Texas for over 40 years. Before moving to Austin, she lived in Diboll, a small town in east Texas. She has many fond memories of the area lakes as a young child. She grew up sailing and water skiing on the lakes with her friends and family. Deb obtained her real estate license and began selling real estate in 2010. Before she became a realtor, she worked as a legal researcher and real estate investor. Deb is a lake expert because of her knowledge of the Lake Travis and Lake Austin communities. She knows what it takes to live and own property in these areas. Deb now lives in a quiet neighborhood on Lake Austin. She is just a little over half a mile from Lake Travis. She loves the community she lives in because her neighbors are not just neighbors, but also friends. Deb works hard and spends time on Lake Travis and Lake Austin in her spare time. She enjoys unwinding there in her Sea Ray ski boat. When Deb is not on the lake, she likes to swim, play racquetball and hike. Her favorite time of the year is fall, and Deb loves to be able to sit back and watch the leaves change color. There are many aspects of being a realtor that Deb enjoys. Education remains important to Deb. Not only has she earned her degree in Marketing, but she has also acquired several certifications including the Master Certified Negotiation Expert and the Texas Farm and Ranch Specialist.
