This was the first place I moved to in Austin, and certainly don't regret it. It's a great location, and a really great staff.
Would definitely recommend it.

Good location with convenient accessibility to city bus route - one of the most affordable places you'll find for a one bedroom in 78704. Though office hours are limited, management is very responsive and helpful. As other reviews have listed, this complex is a bit outdated, but management seems to be proactive in making some necessary improvements to make the place more inviting. My rating is not a reflection of the management, but more so issues I've run into while living here: multiple bike... thefts, a bit of a bug problem, minor issues with outdated appliances, and some of the surrounding businesses attract some ....er...interesting people to the neighborhood. I moved in a few months ago and am living happily! Right off of south congress. Close to bus stops, amys ice cream, coffee shops, and more.
The move in process was quick and easy.
The walls are a little thin but that comes with living in an apartment complex!
I enjoy having a large window in the living room. (Great view of tree tops)
There is a nice little courtyard that is pretty quiet and peaceful.
Everyone is very friendly!
There are always parking spots available near my apartment.
Great... location near south congress but also, Alpine road is a fairly quiet street.

Cute little apartment complex! I've been here about ten days now, so we'll see how it goes, but so far so good. Everyone I've bumped into has been very friendly; there seems to be a good sense of camaraderie among the residents. My neighbors are a bit noisy which can be annoying at night. The walls seem pretty thin, but it is an older complex (built in the 1950s), so that is to be expected. Clean, well-updated units, prompt maintenance, and quick replies from office staff.
