First off, DON’T live on a first floor unit, it will drive you nuts. You will hear every footstep, door, drawer, creak, anything that falls on your neighbours floor… There’s more sound proofing in the walls than there is on the floors. Secondly, the windows are not sound proofed, there’s small gaps that are not sealed properly, because of the location of this building you will literally hear loud airplane engines every 20 minutes (they fly close to the ground). If the landlords want to still... have tenants living in this old building, they need to fix the sound issue & redo all the flooring, insulate windows + doors. im moving out because it’s infuriatingly annoying. Place got remodeled in 2016 and is still falling apart. My walls have crumbled in some areas. Very noisy apartment complex. Thin walks. Loud creaky floors. Upstairs apartments shakes and creaks and cracks when people walk by, which takes getting used to. Thought it was an earthquake when I first moved in.

2 stars because it is a cute apartment, but it’s impossible to get ahold of management. We hear our upstairs neighbors ALL THE TIME to the point of having to sleep somewhere else some nights to get rest. We get woke up by them when they’re getting ready for bed and get woke up when they wake up super early and they stomp everywhere and their kid is like a bowling ball all hours of the night. You can hear every step and our upstairs neighbors walk around the whole evening so it’s constant... background noise to whatever we are doing. We can’t even make love without listening to the neighbors walking around. But we can’t get ahold of management, period. We have only lived here 3 months and we absolutely cannot stand it much longer. Everything the negative reviews on other sites are correct too, the “gym” is a joke and we see cockroaches a couple times a week.
