Don't move here if you care about your mental health

The buildings look nice in photos, but the actual construction quality is extremely poor. The floors are very thin, and if you are not on the top floor, you can clearly hear your upstairs neighbor’s footsteps, thumps, and impact noise. “Luxury living” apparently means nice countertops, thin floors, and zero peace.

The plumbing was another major issue. During our lease, our kitchen sink clogged three separate times because of problems in the shared drainage line. Each time, the response was slow… and frustrating. At one point, the sink was unusable for around two weeks and smelled terrible, yet we had to keep following up and even go to the office multiple times just to get attention.

Management was the worst part. We dealt with intentional low-frequency noise from the upstairs neighbor for about 20 days. Instead of taking it seriously or offering a real solution, management brushed it off and called it a “normal apartment living issue.” That phrase says a lot. If a problem is inconvenient to solve, they simply redefine it as normal.

Overall, the surface finishes may look decent, but the living experience was extremely disappointing: poor sound insulation, cheap construction, recurring plumbing issues, slow maintenance response, and management that seemed more focused on minimizing complaints than solving them. Unless rent is your only priority, I would look elsewhere.

We have been actively working to address your concerns and, despite our… efforts, have not been able to identify any noise levels that exceed what would typically be expected in apartment living. As discussed, our team will continue to support you and respond to your concerns whenever they arise, both during and outside of normal business hours, in an effort to help find a resolution.

Regarding your sink issue, our records indicate that the clog was caused by excessive grease being poured down the drain. Our maintenance team worked diligently to resolve the problem and, during that time, provided access to an alternate apartment home for dishwashing needs. We strive to complete service requests as quickly as possible. Upon review, your maintenance requests have been completed within 24 hours in most cases, with the exception of requests that required scheduling with an outside vendor.

We value you as a resident, and we remain committed to working with you regarding your ongoing noise concerns and appreciate the opportunity to continue addressing them. Don't recommend

Doesn't respond or answer calls, or helps take care of maintenance when you need something fixed. It's like a ghost town inside of the main office trying to get someone to help you or call in for something never there to help with anything. Wouldn't recommend.

A gem!

Astra Avery Ranch is a beautiful home with the most amazing amenities and team! I was awed by the first step I took onto the property as the pool and landscaping transported me to a vacation oasis! Such a beautiful community.

Paper thin walls

The staff that work here are excellent and maintenance is really responsive. Aesthetically the community and apartments are nice. The problem truly lies in the construction with paper thin walls, we planned on renewing our lease. But after several nights of being woken up at 3:00 in the morning from our new upstairs neighbors. We decided not to renew our lease 10 days shy of the 60 day cancellation at which point we were penalized with an exorbitant and unnecessary fee. Instead of paying our… prorated rent for the 12 days of occupancy for the month of December, We are now responsible to pay an additional $1239. Which is ironic considering we were one of the first people to move in to this apartment and we dealt with months of delay on the pool and gym amenities being available for use with no compensation past the dates we were told upon signing our lease.

don't chose to live here

they will lie and tell you one thing at first and then end up telling you something totally different two weeks later. I really do love my apartment here but management and services here are awful.
