Duplexes at Walnut Creek

These are decent duplexes and the neighborhood is relatively quiet (I've been blessed with quiet neighbors so far, so can't speak to how much soundproofing these places have in the common wall). Professional lawn care maintenance is included in the rent, so the yards never get ragged looking. People who live here have pride in their homes and it's not trashy like some duplexes I've seen. Maintenance responds quickly to reported issues with the appliances, bugs, etc.

On that note, I want to... point out that this listing is a bit deceptive. These units DO NOT come with the following: washer/dryer (they have hookups for your own appliances); high-speed internet (you have to purchase your own); ice maker (nope, not in my fridge!); microwave (not in the unit - buy one of your own); hardwood floors (vinyl floors with a wood grain pattern); and a balcony (they are single level units - you have a patio). These places do have a single garage which is really nice to have. Washers and dryer hookups are out in the garage.

All in all though, these are nice places. A little dated, but management has done a lot the past couple of years to upgrade. I just wish the kitchen (galley style) was a bit bigger.

Rent must be paid in cash, check, or money order. You have to either drop it off at their office or mail it in. They do not have an online system for rent payment (the office staff would love one but it's not going to happen). Office and maintenance staff are really friendly! Read More
