Raphael Apartments

Known as the Raphael apartments, (owned by HSU Realty) the complex is in a small neighborhood on a dead end street. It is always quiet and after being here for three years, I haven't known it to be a crime ridden area. The complex is all one level units, so there is no need to move furniture up stairs. I think it was converted from a 1950's motel. The one bedrooms feel big with vaulted ceilings. There is a pool that is open for the summer months. Cats and small dogs are allowed with $170 pet... deposit. I believe there is a 6 month waiting list for these units, though that was the deal when I moved in, I'm not sure that is still an issue. Super close to two different H.E.B.'s. Also close to the trendy north loop neighborhood with houses that have been converted into bars and restaurants. Lawn care is done every Tuesday around 11 am. Pest control is done every 3 months or so. Ample off street parking. The one downfall I could think of is the laundry room has only 4 washers and 2 dryers. Rent is anywhere from $560-$600 for a 1 bedroom and I believe high $600's to mid $700's for a two bedroom. An absolutely awesome complex that I am happy to have found.
